Born Kgotso Justice Khoele, Affectionately known as Technodeep. The self taught dj/podcaster who hails from the small populated town in the Eastern Free State, Steynsrus is known of his dub techno sounds, which he’s still maintaining the 2nd , 3rd and 4th position on hearthis.at dub techno rankings from his previous releases from Radio shows and deep house podcasts. Technodeep is currently hosting a monthly music show called Portraits Of The Soul with Motif (also known as Crystal Sounds) under Authentic Deep, the show aims to showcase the underrated selectors from various provinces across South Africa. The shows are currently available on hearthis.at.
Technodeep started his music/djying career in 2011, influenced mostly by artists like Da Capo, Culoe De Song and Dj Kent. Technodeep relocated to Pretoria in 2013 to further his studies. Despite the academic demands, he continued to work on nourishing his djying skills which he came across artists like Fresh Taylor, Rude Melo and Motif to name few. He managed to grow his name outside his comfort place and managed to secure gigs in Pretoria and outside Pretoria. He played at Club Africa (Pretoria, GP), House 22 (Pretoria, GP), London Pitori (Pretoria, GP), The Annual Zebediela Youth Conference (Zebediela, LP), The Annual Black Panther Party (Steynsrus, FS), The Annual Milito Birthday Xprerience (Lindley, FS) and Zero17 Lifestyle (Breyten, Mpumalanga) to name few. On the 19th of July 2020, he made his debut on CUT FM for the House Of Deep show hosted by Gee Oganne and Lez M. On the 08th of April 2021, he got featured on DEAD. Radio DJ Series hosted by DEAD. and BrunchClub Mix Series, Which for all shows he shown his versatility and immaculate djying skills.
